Remove the battery

  • Apply a suction cup to the back of the battery.

  • Pull up on the suction cup with strong, steady force to begin to separate the battery from the frame.

  • If this is difficult, apply a few more drops of isopropyl alcohol underneath the battery, let it sit for two minutes, and try again.

  • Insert the point of an opening pick into the gap created between the battery and frame.

  • Don't insert the opening pick more than halfway or you risk damaging the fingerprint sensor underneath.

  • Pull up on the suction cup to remove the battery.

  • If you used isopropyl alcohol, wait ten minutes before installing the new battery to allow the alcohol to completely evaporate.

  • When you're reassembling your phone, remove the old adhesive and apply stretch release adhesive strips, double sided adhesive tape, or pre-cut adhesive to secure the new battery.

Verwijder de batterij

Druk een zuignap op de achterzijde van de batterij.

Trek de zuignap met een stevige, constante kracht omhoog om de batterij van het frame te scheiden.

Als dit te veel moeite kost, kun je wat meer druppels isopropyl alcohol onder de batterij toedienen, twee minuten wachten en het vervolgens nog eens proberen.

Steek de punt van een openingsplectrum in de opening tussen de batterij en het frame.

Steek je openingsplectrum niet verder dan halverwege onder de batterij. Als je dit wel doet, riskeer je de vingerafdruksensor eronder te beschadigen.

Trek de zuignap omhoog om de batterij te verwijderen.

De batterij zou er, als de isopropyl alcohol haar werk eenmaal heeft gedaan, zonder al te veel kracht uit moeten komen.

Zorg dat je, bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je telefoon, alle oude lijmresten verwijdert en nieuwe uitrekbare kleefstrips, dubbelzijdige tape of op maat gesneden kleefstrips bevestigt om de batterij weer te installeren.
