Separating the body

  • Next step is to separate the two halves of the cylindrical dashcam body. I used an old credit card as well as a spudger tool for this step.

  • Starting from the right end, work your way carefully along the horizontal crack between the two halves using a spudger and/or credit card. Be patient, don't use too much force or you may break one or more of the internal plastic tabs.

  • Once you've loosened the tabs holding one side of the body, turn the dashcam over and loosen the other side.

  • In the 3rd photo, you can see the location of 2 of the internal tabs holding the body together, in the small opening betwen halves. There are 4 of these internal tabs on each side.

Öffnen des Gehäuses

Der nächste Schritt besteht darin, die beiden Hälften des zylindrischen Dashcam-Gehäuses zu trennen. Ich habe für diesen Schritt eine alte Kreditkarte und einen Spudger verwendet.

Beginne am rechten Ende und arbeiten dich mit einem Spudger und/oder einer Kreditkarte vorsichtig entlang des horizontalen Spaltes zwischen den beiden Hälften vor. Sei geduldig und wende nicht zu viel Kraft an, da sonst eine oder mehrere der inneren Kunststofflaschen brechen könnten.

Nachdem du die Laschen, die eine Seite des Gehäuses halten, gelöst haben, drehe die Dashcam um und löse die andere Seite.

Auf dem 3. Foto kannst du die Position von 2 der inneren Laschen sehen, die das Gehäuse in der kleinen Öffnung zwischen den Hälften zusammenhalten. Es gibt 4 dieser internen Laschen auf jeder Seite.
