Final Thoughts

  • The Nintendo Switch OLED Model earns a 7 out of 10 on our repairability scale (10 is the easiest to repair):

  • Most important components are modular and easy to replace.

  • Batteries, though adhered to their housings, are easy to access and disconnect, and not too difficult to remove.

  • The new OLED display is only adhered to the console around the edges, making replacements just as easy as the original Switch.

  • Some of the internal changes to the Switch OLED reduce the modularity of individual components.

  • Proprietary tri-point screws restrict users from opening the Switch.

Fazit

Die OLED-Version der Nintendo Switch erhält die Bewertung 7 von 10 auf unserer Reparaturskala (10 ist am leichtesten zu reparieren).

Die wichtigsten Bauteile sind modular und leicht zu ersetzen.

Akkus sind zwar in ihren Einfassungen festgeklebt, aber leicht zugänglich und lassen sich leicht abtrennen und ausbauen.

Das neue OLED-Display ist nur an den Rändern an der Konsole befestigt, der Austausch ist deshalb genauso einfach wie bei der originalen Switch.

Bei der OLED-Version gibt es ein paar Änderungen, deswegen sind einige Bauteile weniger modular.

Proprietäre Tri-Point-Schrauben erschweren dem Benutzer den Zugang zur Switch.
