Slice through the battery adhesive

  • As you pry the battery, take care not to puncture or bend the battery with your tool—a punctured or bent battery may leak dangerous chemicals or cause a thermal event.

  • Insert a plastic card under the top of the left battery cell.

  • Slide the plastic card as far as you can under the battery to cut the adhesive.

  • If the adhesive becomes difficult to cut through, apply a few more drops of adhesive remover to the crevice, wait a minute, and try again.

  • Leave the plastic card inserted.

Corta el adhesiva de la batería

Mientras haces palanca en la batería, ten cuidado de no perforar o doblar la batería con su herramienta: una batería perforada o doblada puede tener fugas de sustancias químicas peligrosas o provocar un evento térmico.

Inserta una tarjeta de plástico debajo de la parte superior de la celda de la batería izquierda.

Desliza la tarjeta de plástico lo más que puedas debajo de la batería para cortar el adhesivo.

Si resulta difícil cortar el adhesivo, aplica unas gotas más de removedor de adhesivo en la hendidura, espera un minuto y vuelve a intentarlo.

Deja la tarjeta de plástico insertada.
