Slice through the battery adhesive

  • As you pry the battery, take care not to puncture or bend the battery with your tool—a punctured or bent battery may leak dangerous chemicals or cause a thermal event.

  • Insert a plastic card under the top of the left battery cell.

  • Slide the plastic card as far as you can under the battery to cut the adhesive.

  • If the adhesive becomes difficult to cut through, apply a few more drops of adhesive remover to the crevice, wait a minute, and try again.

  • Leave the plastic card inserted.

Akkukleber durchtrennen

Achte beim Hochhebeln des Akkus darauf, ihn mit deinem Werkzeug weder zu durchstechen noch zu verbiegen. Aus einem beschädigten Akku können gefährliche Chemikalien austreten und er kann sich entzünden oder sogar explodieren.

Setze eine Kunststoffkarte oben unter die linke Akkuzelle.

Schiebe die Karte so weit wie möglich unter den Akku, um den Kleber aufzuschneiden.

Wenn der Kleber zu zäh zum Auftrennen wird, gib ein Tropfen Klebstoffentferner in den Spalt, warte eine Minute und versuche es dann erneut.

Lasse die Kunststoffkarte an Ort und Stelle eingesetzt.
