Remove the old adhesive

  • Scrape away all traces of adhesive and debris from the Surface's case and screen.

  • Use high concentration isopropyl alcohol (over 90%) or iFixit adhesive remover and a lint-free cloth to clean the adhesion surfaces on both the case and the screen.

  • If glue or glass remnants are left behind, the new screen will not mount correctly and may be damaged.

  • Lay the adhesive strips out to get an idea of where they go.

Rimuovi l'adesivo originale

Gratta via tutte le tracce di adesivo e detriti dalla copertura e dallo schermo del Surface.

Usa dell'alcool isopropilico ad alta concentrazione (>90%) o del solvente per adesivo iFixit e un panno senza lanugine per pulire le superfici di adesione sia sulla copertura che sullo schermo.

Se restano della colla o delle schegge di vetro, il nuovo schermo non si installerà correttamente e potrebbe danneggiarsi.

Appoggia le strisce adesive per avere un'idea di dove vanno.
