Der Dyson DC52 Cinetic war der erste Staubsauger, der dank Multi-Zyklon Technik komplett ohne Verbrauchsmaterial wie Beutel oder Filter auskam.

Das machte diesen hochpreisigen Staubsauger im Betrieb sehr günstig.

Jetzt nach den Jahren  oder beim Benutzen des Saugers mit zu viel Staub (z.B. Bohren Schleifen) auch schon deutlich schneller, kommt es aber doch dazu dass die Saugkraft nachlässt.

Gibt man den Sauger dann zur Reparatur, ist das häufig ein wirtschaftlicher Totalschaden, da dann 100 - 200 EUR für das Zerlegen des Gerätes und den Tausch des Nachmotorfilters fällig werden.

Das Zerlegen des Gerätes habe ich ja schon in einer anderen Anleitung beschrieben. Ihr könnt natürlich einen Nachmotorfilter bestellen (Teilenummer 961886-02). Der kostet mit Versand so 80 - 120 EUR. Wird bei Dyson in Deutschland nicht mehr angeboten, bei dyson.uk bekommt man ihn für 36 GBP (nicht probiert, ob die nach D versenden)

Hier zeige ich Euch ein EXPERIMENT, in dem ich versuche, einen Nachmotorfilter durch einfache Wäsche wieder zu regenerieren. Das ist vom Hersteller natürlich nicht so vorgesehen, deswegen auch keine Garantie auf volle Performance. Aber einen neuen Filter könnt Ihr immer noch kaufen.

Ein Experiment, das ***nicht*** funktioniert hat, war den Filter in einem Wäschesack bei 75 °C in der Waschmaschine (ohne Schleudern) zu waschen. Der stützende Kunststoff ist zerbröselt und das Filterpaier hat sich aufgelöst.

The Dyson DC52 Cinetic was the first vacuum cleaner that managed completely without consumables such as bags or filters thanks to multi-cyclone technology.

This made this high-priced vacuum cleaner very cheap to run.

Now after the years or when using the vacuum cleaner with too much dust (eg drilling grinding) also much faster, but it comes to the fact that the suction power decreases.

If the vacuum cleaner is then sent for repair, it is often a total economic loss, since 100 - 200 EUR are then due for the disassembly of the device and the replacement of the post-motor filter.

I have already described how to disassemble the device in another manual. You can of course order a post-motor filter (part number 961886-02). This costs around 80 - 120 EUR including shipping. Dyson no longer offers it in Germany, but you can get it from dyson.uk for 36 GBP (haven't tried whether they ship to Germany)

Here I show you an EXPERIMENT, in which I try to regenerate a post engine filter by simple washing. Of course, this is not intended by the manufacturer, therefore no guarantee for full performance. But you can always buy a new filter.

One experiment that ***didn't*** work was to wash the filter in a laundry bag at 75 °C in the washing machine (without spinning). The supporting plastic crumbled and the filter paper disintegrated.

There is an astonishing amount of dirt in the post-engine filter. Remove dirt and hair with another vacuum cleaner.

Position a garden hose on a fanned jet.

Now spray the dirty inside from below and hold the filter so that dirty water drains downward and does not get to the clean outside.
