Prepare descaling liquid (see comments) and fill it into the water tank (as with the usual descaling according to the instructions)

Switch off the coffee machine

Set volume control (green) to minimum (all the way to the left)

The quantity regulation remains at minimum.

Rinse out the water tank and fill it up with clear water

crwdns2936071:06crwdne2936071:0 — Place the brewing group into sleep mode

Set the volume control to the middle and hold down the steam button until the LED next to the coffee button lights up. The brew group is now back in its original position.
