Remove the battery

  • Use a heat gun and heat up the front side of the display to loosen the adhesive holding the battery in place.

  • Insert a thin, flat, flexible tool to release the adhesive between the battery and frame. Work along the side of the battery and eventually it will start to come loose.

  • Extreme caution is advised when working with batteries. A punctured battery is a fire hazard - don't use one. Dispose of it at your nearest battery recycling centre.

  • Once one side is free, you can do the same on the other side and should be able to life the battery up and out.

Akku entfernen

Erwärme die Vorderseite des Displays mit einem Heißluftgebläse, um den Kleber am Akku aufzuweichen.

Setze ein dünnes flexibles Werkzeug zum Auftrennen des Klebers zwischen den Akku und den Rahmen ein. Arbeite dich an der Seite des Akkus entlang, bis er sich abzulösen beginnt.

Arbeite besonders vorsichtig am Akku, damit das Werkzeug den Akku nicht beschädigt. Ein angestochener Akku kann sich entzünden, verwende ihn nicht mehr weiter. Entsorge ihn fachgerecht.

Wenn eine Seite frei ist, wiederhole das Verfahren an der anderen Seite, bis der Akku ganz abgelöst ist und herausgeholt werden kann.
