Applying the Prepared Hot Glue

  • Glue Gun Cont. : Apply hot glue in excess over the damaged area and then slide the heat shrink over that area.

  • Glue Stick Cont. : Without applying any hot glue, slide the heath shrink over the damaged area of the cord.

  • Feel free to be generous with the glue. Most effective repair will occur when the heat shrink is near-full of glue for either option.

  • Be careful with the glue gun, temperatures get hot enough to burn skin.

Appliquer la colle thermofusible

Méthode du pistolet à colle : appliquez de la colle à profusion sur la zone abîmée, puis recouvrez avec la gaine thermorétractable.

Méthode du bâton de colle : recouvrez la zone abîmée avec la gaine, mais sans appliquer de colle.

N'hésitez pas à utiliser de la colle à profusion quelle que soit la méthode. Plus la gaine sera pleine de colle, plus la réparation sera efficace.

Manipulez le pistolet à colle avec soin. Vous risquez sinon de vous brûler.
