Remove the CPU fan

Use a pair of angled tweezers to disconnect the CPU fan cable from the motherboard.
Lift the CPU fan connector straight up from the motherboard to disconnect it from its socket.
During reassembly, align the CPU fan connector with its socket and use your finger to press it straight down into the motherboard.
