Remove the front-facing camera

  • Use a pair of tweezers to remove the front-facing camera.

  • If the front-facing camera doesn't easily lift out of the frame, apply a few more drops of isopropyl alcohol and wait for the adhesive to weaken. Repeat this process as necessary.

  • You can also use the pointed end of a spudger to scrape away some of the adhesive to make the front-facing camera easier to lift out. Remove loose bits of adhesive after this process.

  • If there's any alcohol solution remaining in the phone, carefully wipe it off or allow it to air dry before installing your new front-facing camera.

  • During reassembly, follow this guide if you are using a pre-cut adhesive card to secure the new front-facing camera to the frame.

Wenn noch Alkohol im Smartphone zurück geblieben ist, dann wische ihn sorgfältig weg und lasse ihn gut austrocknen, bevor du die neue Kamera einbaust.
