Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your rear glass is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction cup. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the rear glass.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the glass and the frame.

  • In case you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.

Infila un plettro

Fai aderire una ventosa al bordo inferiore del vetro posteriore, il più vicino possibile al bordo.

Se il vetro dello schermo è rotto, coprirlo con uno strato di nastro adesivo da pacchi trasparente può aiutare la ventosa a fare presa. In alternativa puoi usare del nastro molto resistente al posto della ventosa. Se hai ancora problemi, puoi usare della super colla per incollare la ventosa al vetro.

Solleva il vetro posteriore con la ventosa per creare una piccola fessura tra il vetro e la cornice.

Se hai dei problemi nel creare la fessura, scalda di più il vetro per ammorbidire ulteriormente l'adesivo. Segui le istruzioni dell'iOpener per evitare di surriscaldarlo.

Infila un plettro nella fessura.

Fai scorrere il plettro verso l'angolo in basso a destra per tagliare l'adesivo.
