Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your rear glass is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction cup. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the rear glass.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the glass and the frame.

  • In case you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.

Inserta una púa para la apertura

Fija una ventosa al borde inferior del vidrio trasero, lo más cerca posible del borde.

Si el vidrio trasero está muy agrietado, cúbrelo con una capa de cinta adhesiva transparente para que pueda permitir que la ventosa se adhiera. Alternativamente, se puede usar cinta adhesiva muy fuerte en lugar de la ventosa. Si todo lo demás falla, puedes pegar con pegamento la ventosa al cristal trasero.

Levanta el vidrio trasero con la ventosa para crear un pequeño espacio entre el vidrio y el marco.

En caso de que tengas problemas para crear un espacio, aplica más calor para ablandar aún más el adhesivo. Sigue las instrucciones de iOpener para evitar el sobrecalentamiento.

Inserta una púa de apertura en el espacio.

Desliza la púa de apertura hacia la esquina inferior derecha para cortar el adhesivo.
