Remove the two T20 Torx screws located below the glove box.
One is located all the way on the right and the other one is located all the way on the left.
The panel will drop down as the screws are removed. Pull the panel away slightly.
Careful not to let it drop all the way down as a wire is connected to the footwell light.
Disconnect the black cable for the footwell light.
