Cleaning the Sensor

  • At this point it might be worthwhile to connect the USB cord to a computer verify the performance of the sensors in real time as you clean them.

  • Use the Air Duster to blow out any debris inside the sensor, while turning the "knob" through it's entire range of motion several times. Hold the base and turn the knob so as not to bend the wires.

  • Use shop cloths to create a containment area and repeat the procedure using Silicone Spray, rotating the sensor several times with each wash. Wash at least three times to give any debris a chance to be flushed out.

  • Use Air Duster again to clear out any remaining silicon lube and to dry the part, again, rotating it through it's range of motion several times.

Limpieza del sensor

Llegados a este punto, puede que merezca la pena conectar el cable USB a un ordenador para comprobar el funcionamiento de los sensores en tiempo real mientras los limpias.

Utiliza el plumero de aire para soplar cualquier residuo dentro del sensor, mientras gira la "perilla" a través de todo su rango de movimiento varias veces. Sujeta la base y gira el mando para no doblar los cables.

Utiliza paños de taller para crear una zona de contención y repita el procedimiento con Silicone Spray, girando el sensor varias veces con cada lavado. Lávalo al menos tres veces para eliminar cualquier resto de suciedad.

Utiliza de nuevo el Air Duster para eliminar cualquier resto de lubricante de silicona y para secar la pieza, de nuevo, girándola a través de su rango de movimiento varias veces.
