Remove the screen

  • Don't try to completely remove the screen yet. There are still two cables routed through the frame.

  • Hold the top half of the frame up so that the touch layer cable can be threaded through its cutout.

  • Lift the screen up from its top half while threading the touch layer cable through its cutout in the frame.

  • Don't lift the screen higher than a 15 degree angle above the frame to avoid damaging the device.

  • If the screen does not easily lift off the frame, you may need to cut through more of the perimeter adhesive or apply more isopropyl alcohol to the inner adhesive.

Verwijder het scherm

Probeer het scherm nog niet volledig te verwijderen, aangezien er nog steeds twee kabels door het frame heen lopen.

Houd het bovenste deel van het frame omhoog, zodat de kabel van de touchscreenlaag door de opening in het frame kan worden getrokken.

Til het bovenste deel van het scherm vervolgens op zodat de kabel door de opening in het frame verwijderd kan worden.

Til het scherm niet verder omhoog dan tot een hoek van ongeveer 15 graden boven het scherm om te voorkomen dat je je toestel beschadigt.

Als het scherm niet gemakkelijk van het frame los komt, kan het nodig zijn dat je de lijm aan de binnenkant van het toestel verder lossnijdt of meer isopropyl alcohol rondom de lijm toedient.
