  • Pull up on the suction cup with a steady force to create a gap between the bottom edge of the battery and the frame.

  • Take care not to bend the battery—a bent battery may leak dangerous chemicals or cause a thermal event.

  • If the battery does not appear to be separating from the frame, apply a few more drops of isopropyl alcohol and wait two minutes before trying again.

  • The adhesive underneath the battery is strong. You might need to apply isopropyl alcohol and pull up on the suction cup multiple times to loosen the battery.

Trek de zuignap met een constante, stevige kracht omhoog om zo een opening te creëren tussen de onderkant van de batterij en het frame.

Ga voorzichtig te werk en zorg dat je de batterij niet verbuigt—een gebogen of vervormde batterij kan gevaarlijke chemicaliën lekken en/of in brand vliegen.

Als de batterij niet van het frame los lijkt te komen, kun je ervoor kiezen wat meer isopropyl alcohol toe te dienen en nog eens twee minuten te wachten voordat je de batterij weer los probeer te trekken.

De lijm onder de batterij is vrij sterk. Het kan nodig zijn om deze stap—waarbij je isopropyl alcohol toedient en vervolgens de zuignap omhoog trekt—meerdere keren te herhalen om de batterij los te krijgen.
