  • Since there's nothing left to pull out of this phone, it's time for a quick sum-up:

  • Once again Xiaomi packed a device with cutting-edge hardware, being evidently unwilling to make decisions between 5G and a 120 Hz screen. Time will tell if they found a winning balance, or just made a phone that will quickly chew through dual-cell batteries.

  • We're happy to see an internal design that accommodates independent battery and screen removals.

  • At the end of the day it's still glued together, so reassembly won't be fun—but at least the adhesives used here aren't as tough as some.

Il n'y a plus rien à (re)tirer de ce téléphone, donc résumons rapidement :

Une fois de plus, Xiaomi a fabriqué un appareil bourré de matériel dernier cri, de toute évidence sans vouloir trancher entre la G5 et l'écran à 120 Hz. Le temps nous dira s'ils ont trouvé un équilibre gagnant ou juste conçu un téléphone qui usera rapidement les deux cellules de sa batterie.

Nous sommes ravis de voir une conception intérieure qui permet de démonter séparément la batterie et l'écran.

Au final, tout est encore enduit de colle, donc le remontage ne sera pas une partie de plaisir, mais au moins l'adhésif n'est pas aussi tenace qu'ailleurs.
