Remove the cylinder gasket

Peel the cylinder gasket off of the cylinder.
The cylinder gasket may have stuck to the bottom of the lower valve plate. If this is the case, remove it from the lower valve plate."
During reassembly, make sure to install everything in the correct order and orientation. Use the last image in this step or the device diagram for reference.
