Removing the Keyboard

  • Unfortunately, pictures of the removal were not taken but there are several YouTube videos demonstrating the process.

  • First, remove the battery and then remove two rubber bungs which are then visible in the battery compartment. Their surfaces are flush with the battery compartment roof.

  • Using two notches to gain access, slide the inter-key sheet upwards, revealing 6 small screws.

  • Remove these screws.

  • Now carefully lift the top of the keyboard and angle it towards you, revealing its two ribbon cables.

  • Gently lift the locking tabs on the ribbon cables and withdraw the ribbons. You can now remove the keyboard.

  • On different laptops, there are several methods of removing the keyboard. In some, you only need to release tabs along the top. Others are retained by screws under a bezel between the keyboard and the screen or they are accessed from the underside of the laptop.

Démontage du clavier

Malheureusement, aucune photo du démontage n'a été prise, mais il existe plusieurs vidéos YouTube décrivant le processus.

Retirez d'abord la batterie, puis les deux pattes en caoutchouc qui sont alors visibles dans le compartiment de la batterie. Leurs surfaces sont alignées avec le capot du compartiment de la batterie.

En utilisant les deux encoches d'accès, faites glisser la plaque entourant les touches vers le haut, révélant ainsi 6 petites vis.

Retirez ces vis.

Soulevez maintenant avec précaution la partie supérieure du clavier et inclinez-la vers vous pour révéler ses deux nappes.

Soulevez doucement les languettes de verrouillage des nappes et retirez ces nappes. Vous pouvez maintenant retirer le clavier.

Sur différents ordinateurs portables, il existe plusieurs méthodes pour retirer le clavier. Sur certains, il suffit d'enlever les languettes situées sur le dessus. D'autres sont retenus par des vis situées sous un cache entre le clavier et l'écran, ou sont accessibles par le dessous de l'ordinateur portable.
