Remove the battery

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap long the left side of the battery.

  • Use the opening pick to slice the remaining adhesive at the top and bottom of the battery.

  • Avoid scraping the two flex cables under the battery with your opening pick.

  • This may be difficult as the adhesive is strategically located between the cables and the battery tray. A possible solution is to cut a plastic card to fit between the flex cables and battery tray edge.

  • Do not bend the battery.

  • Avoid the earpiece contact pins located near the top left corner of the battery as you pry up with your opening pick.

  • If you cannot pry the battery up, add a few more drops of isopropyl alcohol to the adhesive. A plastic card can also be helpful during this process.

Verwijder de batterij

Steek een openingsplectrum in de opening aan de linkerkant van de batterij.

Gebruik je plectrum om de resterende lijm aan de boven- en onderkant van de batterij door te snijden.

Voorkom dat je de flexkabels onder de batterij raakt bij het doorsnijden van de lijm.

Dit kan vrij lastig zijn aangezien de lijm precies tussen de kabels en de batterijhouder zitten. Om dit te voorkomen kun je een plastic kaart op maat knippen zodat die precies tussen de flexkabels en de rand van de batterijhouder past.

Voorkom dat je de batterij verbuigt.

Voorkom dat je de pinnen van het oorstukcontact, dat bij de linker bovenhoek van de batterij is geplaatst, met je plectrum beschadigt.

Als je de batterij niet omhooggewrikt krijgt, kun je wat meer druppels isopropylalcohol toedienen. Een plastic kaart kan ook van pas komen in deze procedure.
