Remove adhesive pull tabs

  • Use blunt nose tweezers to grip the black adhesive pull tab located on the top right edge of the battery. Lift the pull tab with the tweezers until you are able to grip it with your fingers.

  • Pull on the pull tab with a slow, steady force at a shallow angle to prevent the pull tab from snapping in the middle.

  • Try to keep the adhesive strips flat and unwrinkled during this procedure; twisted or wrinkled strips will stick together and break instead of pulling out cleanly.

  • If the adhesive becomes hard to pull, you can roll it around a spudger and continue pulling.

  • If the pull tab breaks prematurely, use tweezers to retrieve the remaining length of adhesive and continue pulling.

  • If you are unable to retrieve it, move on to the next step.

Verwijder de strips

Gebruik een pincet met botte uiteinden om de zwarte treklip bovenop de rechterkant van de batterij vast te pakken. Trek de treklip met je pincet los tot je de lip met je vingers kunt vastpakken.

Trek de strip aan de treklip met een langzame maar constante kracht in een kleine hoek onder de batterij vandaan. Zo voorkom je dat het plastic breekt of scheurt.

Houd de strips zo vlak mogelijk bij het trekken; als je de strips draait, kunnen ze aan zichzelf vast gaan plakken en afbreken.

Als het lastig is de strip weg te trekken, kun je ervoor kiezen het uiteinde van de strip om je spudger heen te rollen en zo verder te trekken.

Als de strip voortijdig afbreekt, probeer je de strip weer vast te pakken met een pincet en ga je verder met trekken.

Als het je niet lukt de strip weer te pakken te krijgen, ga je verder met de volgende stap.
