Removing the mouse buttons and the upper shell

  • To gain access to the internals we need to remove the upper shell, to do this we need to remove two more screws, which are (unfortunately) located underneath the two main mouse buttons.

  • The left button is rather easy to remove, just apply light upwards pressure between the shell and the mouse button, you will be able to lift it up as it's on a hinge, and gently remove it from the hinge for better access to the screw

  • For the right button, apply pressure from multiple angles if the button doesn't come off like the left button. Try to apply pressure from the points marked by yellow arrows.

  • Removing the right button requires a lot more force, be very careful and try to apply pressure from as many sides as possible to spread out the pressure as to not break anything

  • For me, it didn't actually hinge like the left button did, instead I had to remove it from the hinge directly.

  • Once both buttons are removed, we can access the screws located in the red circle markers, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove them.

Retrait des boutons de la souris et de la coque supérieure

Pour accéder aux composants internes, nous devons retirer la coque supérieure, pour ce faire, nous devons retirer deux autres vis, qui sont (malheureusement) situées sous les deux boutons principaux de la souris.

Le bouton gauche est plutôt facile à retirer, il suffit d'appliquer une légère pression vers le haut entre la coque et le bouton de la souris, vous pourrez le soulever car il est sur une charnière, et le retirer délicatement de la charnière pour un meilleur accès à la vis

Pour le bouton droit, appliquez une pression sous plusieurs angles si le bouton ne se détache pas comme le bouton gauche. Essayez d'appliquer une pression à partir des points marqués par des flèches jaunes.

Retirer le bouton de droite nécessite beaucoup plus de force, soyez très prudent et essayez d'appliquer une pression du plus grand nombre de côtés possible pour répartir la pression afin de ne rien casser

Pour moi, il ne s'articulait pas vraiment comme le bouton gauche, mais je devais le retirer directement de la charnière.

Une fois les deux boutons retirés, nous pouvons accéder aux vis situées dans les marqueurs de cercle rouge, utilisez un tournevis cruciforme pour les retirer.
