AirPods Battery Replacement

  • AirPods 1 and 2 have cylindrical batteries that plug directly into the body. We need to use Hot Air Gun with helical wind to heat the metal cap to remove the battery.

  • Please be noted that vertical wind can’t be used since it is too concentrated and can easily damage the case.

  • Set the temperature of the Hot Air Gun to 100℃ and airflow to 7. Switch to helical wind.

  • Place the AirPods 20mm around the Hot Air Gun and heat the metal cap for 3 minutes. During the heating process, we need to flip the AirPods constantly to heat it evenly.

Remplacement de la batterie des AirPods

Les AirPods 1 et 2 ont des batteries cylindriques qui se branchent directement dans le corps de l'appareil. Il nous faut un pistolet à air chaud à souffle hélicoïdal pour chauffer le capuchon métallique pour enlever la batterie.

Notez bien qu'un pistolet à air chaud à souffle direct n'est pas adapté car il sera trop concentré et abîmera facilement le corps de l'AirPod.

Réglez la température à 100°C et le débit d'air à 7. Passez en mode hélicoïdal.

Placez l'AirPod 20mm autour du pistolet à air chaud et chauffez le capuchon métallique pendant 3 minutes. Pendant cette étape, il faut faire tourner l'AirPod en permanence pour le faire chauffer de manière uniforme.
