Separate LCD and backlight layers

  • Set the panel up straight.

  • Pull the border slightly out and push it forward to release the plastic clips all around the edge.

  • It's easiest to start at the bottom right or left. You may need the prying tool again for the corner clips.

  • Be careful not to separate the layers too far as they are still connected at the bottom with fragile ribbon cables.

  • You'll be able to peek inbetween the layers to blow out dust or insects that got stuck there.

  • As you can see I had to turn on the monitor in this state to see the dust, but obviously this is not recommended.

Separa las capas de LCD y la retroiluminación

Coloca la pantalla en posición vertical.

Empuja ligeramente el borde hacia adelante y hacia afuera, para soltar los clips de plástico que tiene alrededor.

Es más fácil empezar en la parte inferior derecha o izquierda. Puede que tengas que usar de nuevo la herramienta de palanca, para los clips de las esquinas.

Ten cuidado de no separar demasiado las capas, ya que todavía están conectadas con frágiles cables planos en la parte inferior.

Podrás mirar entre las capas y sacar el polvo o los insectos que se hayan quedado ahí atrapados.

Como puedes ver, en esta parte tuve que encender el monitor, para ver mejor el polvo, pero obviamente no es recomendable hacerlo.
