Vorbereitung

  • Aktuelle Firmware von Kenwood herunterladen

  • Die Firmware auf den USB-Stick ins Stammverzeichnis kopieren

  • Den USB-Stick in die USB-Buchse des Radios stecken. (Front oder Kabel auf der Rückseite ist egal)

  • Sicherstellen, dass das Radio den USB-Stick erkennt. z.B. Falls eine mp3 Datei auf dem USB-Stick ist, kann das durch einfaches abspielen der MP3 getestet werden. Damit ist sichergestellt, dass der USB-Stick richtig formatiert ist.

Download the latest firmware from Kenwood

Copy the firmware to the USB stick in the root directory

Insert the USB stick into the USB port of the radio. (Front or cable on the back doesn't matter)

Make sure the radio recognizes the USB stick. E.g. If there is an mp3 file on the USB stick, this can be tested by simply playing the MP3. This ensures that the USB stick is correctly formatted.
