  • Two screws secure the Lightning port, making this high-wear part easy to replace if it breaks.

  • With the right tools, some case modding action, and re-wiring one might even be able to swap it out for a slightly wider USB-C port to make it Android-compatible.

  • The interconnect cable wiggles in the casing but can't be removed without causing irreparable damage, so we leave it alone for now.

  • We free the springs with our Minnow portable bit set and save the game before the final boss layout.

Er zijn slechts twee schroeven die de Lightning-poort bevestigen, wat betekent dat dit intensief gebruikte onderdeel makkelijk te vervangen is, mocht het kapot gaan.

Met de juiste tools, wat modificaties aan de behuizing en het verleggen van wat kabels zou je deze Lightning-poort zelfs in kunnen wisselen voor een grotere USB-C poort. Zo zou je de Backbone One compatibel maken met Android-telefoons.

De interconnectkabel zit enigszins los in de behuizing maar kan desondanks niet worden verwijderd zonder niet te repareren schade aan te richten. We laten het daarom voor nu maar even op z'n plek zitten.

We bevrijden de veren met behulp van onze Minnow Precisiebitset en slaan onze save-game op net voor de eindbaas layout.
