Loosen the rear glass adhesive

  • Switch off your phone.

  • Heat an iOpener to loosen the adhesive beneath the rear glass. Apply the iOpener for at least two minutes. If you have a heatbed with precise temperature control (like any FDM 3D printer with heatbed) 45°C is enough. You might want to repeat this step several times during the rear glass removal.

  • A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate may also be used, but be careful not to overheat the phone—the AMOLED display and internal battery are both susceptible to heat damage.

Ammorbidisci l'adesivo del vetro posteriore

Spegni il tuo telefono.

Scalda un iOpener per ammorbidire l'adesivo sotto il vetro posteriore. Tieni appoggiato l'iOpener per almeno due minuti. Se disponi di un piano riscaldato con controllo preciso della temperatura (come qualsiasi stampante 3D FDM con piano riscaldato), 45°C sono sufficienti. Potresti dover ripetere questo passaggio più volte durante la rimozione del vetro posteriore.

Puoi usare anche un asciugacapelli, una pistola termica o una piastra scaldante, ma stai attento a non surriscaldare il telefono: il pannello AMOLED e la batteria sono facilmente danneggiabili dal calore eccessivo.
