Place the oil drain pan below the machine to catch the draining oil. The pan will be located directly below where the yellow oil drain hose cap is in this picture.

Then remove the cap from the oil drain hose to allow the oil to drain into the pan.

Allow enough time for most of the oil to drain from the engine before proceeding to the next step.
