  • Slim is no longer in—this year's flagship Xbox is rocking a fuller figure and, judging by that huge grille, packing some serious cooling.

  • The Series X has a smaller footprint than the One X, even if you lay it on its side. But it's 60% larger by volume—let's hope your entertainment cabinet can adapt.

  • More grilles grace the back of the console, along with the usual ports and a new storage expansion slot.

  • In an excellent accessibility move, the ports come with some tactile identification in the form of tiny raised dots, making the finding-and-plugging process easier not just for the sight impaired, but anyone trying to reach into their TV cabinet without turning the whole console around.

  • We're not tearing down the Series S today, but we have some nifty X-rays of that sibling console incoming! Stay tuned.

La minceur est passée de mode. La Xbox phare de cette année a pris du poids et, à en juger à l'immense grille, n'a pas lésiné sur le refroidissement.

La Series X est a plus petit pied que la One X, même si vous la posez sur la tranche. Mais son volume a augmenté de 60 %. Espérons que votre espace de récréation pourra s'adapter.

D'autres grilles ornent le dos de la console, en plus des ports habituels et d'une nouvelle fente d'extension de stockage.

Nous notons une excellente amélioration : les ports se différentient par des petits picots. Manipuler câbles et Cie sera donc plus facile pour les malvoyants, mais aussi pour n'importe qui désirant brancher son câble HDMI sans retourner complètement la console.

Nous n'allons pas démonter la Series S aujourd'hui, mais nous attendons des clichés radio sympas de cette petite cousine ! Restez à l'affût !
