  • We interrupt this teardown to bring you this excellent X-ray intermission from our pals at Creative Electron. It's a glance at the guts before we go!

  • The obvious standout here is the MagSafe wireless charging array, and it's cool to finally see it with our eyes. Magnet paper works too, but X-rays are so much better.

  • And nope, we didn't add a black border to the iPhone 12 Pro X-ray on the right. That's the result of the stainless steel frame compared to the aluminum frame on the iPhone 12—steel is denser, thus more opaque in X-ray shots.

  • Not pictured in the X-rays: all the fingerprints we inevitably put on these things...

Interrompiamo questo smontaggio per un intermezzo a base di eccellenti raggi X dei nostri compari di Creative Electron. Una bella radiografia prima dell'operazione!

La cosa più evidente qui è l'insieme per la ricarica wireless MagSafe ed è bello vederlo finalmente con i nostri occhi. Funzionano anche i fogli magnetici, ma i raggi X sono davvero molto meglio.

Aggiungiamo che no, non abbiamo aggiunto un bordo nero all'immagine a raggi X sulla destra dell'iPhone 12 Pro. È il risultato della scocca in acciaio inossidabile da comparare con quella di alluminio dell'iPhone 12: l'acciaio è più denso e quindi risulta più opaco nelle immagini a raggi X.

Non visibili nelle immagini: tutte le impronte digitali che abbiamo inevitabilmente lasciato su questi aggeggi…
