Remove the battery

  • Remove the battery.

  • Do not reinstall a damaged or deformed battery, as doing so is a potential safety hazard.

  • If you are reusing your old battery during reassembly, you can reuse the existing adhesive to secure the battery during reassembly.

  • Alternatively, remove the old adhesive with high concentration isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth and use a small piece of double-sided tape such as Tesa 61395, or a dab of liquid adhesive such as E6000.

Herinstalleer of hergebruik nooit een beschadigde batterij aangezien dit altijd een potentieel gevaar met zich meebrengt.

Als je oude batterij onbeschadigd is en je besluit deze te hergebruiken, kun je de oude kleefstrips gebruiken door deze te verwarmen voordat je ze herbevestigt.

Als alternatief kun je de oude kleefstrips verwijderen met wat hooggeconcentreerde isopropyl alcohol (>90%) en een stuk stofvrij doek om vervolgens dubbelzijdige tape (zoals Tesa 61395) of wat vloeibare lijm (zoals E6000) aan te brengen.
