Remove the battery

  • Apply a suction cup to the back of the battery.

  • Pull up on the suction cup with strong, steady force to begin to separate the battery from the frame.

  • If this is difficult, apply 1-2 more drops of isopropyl alcohol underneath the battery, let it sit for two minutes, and try again.

  • Insert the point of an opening pick into the gap created between the battery and frame.

  • Don't insert the opening pick more than halfway or you risk damaging the fingerprint sensor underneath.

  • Pull up on the suction cup to remove the battery.

  • If you used isopropyl alcohol, wait ten minutes before installing the new battery to allow the alcohol to completely evaporate.

  • When you're reassembling your phone, apply stretch release adhesive strips, double sided adhesive tape, or pre-cut adhesive to secure the new battery.

Verwijder de batterij

Druk een zuignap op de achterkant van de batterij.

Trek de zuignap omhoog met een constante, stevige kracht om de batterij zo van het frame te scheiden.

Als dit te veel moeite kost, kun je wat meer druppels isopropyl alcohol onder de batterij toedienen, dit gedurende twee minuten laten intrekken en het nog eens proberen.

Steek de punt van een openingsplectrum in de opening die je zojuist tussen de batterij en het frame hebt gecreëerd.

Steek je plectrum niet te ver (ongeveer tot de helft) in het toestel aangezien je anders riskeert de vingerafdruksensor eronder te beschadigen.

Trek de zuignap omhoog om de batterij te verwijderen.

De batterij zal er, als de isopropyl alcohol eenmaal goed onder de batterij heeft weten in te trekken, zonder al te veel moeite uit het toestel komen.

Bevestig je nieuwe batterij, bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je telefoon, met uitrekbare kleefstrips, dubbelzijdige tape of vooraf op maat gesneden kleefstrips.
