  • Measuring from the left end of strip 4R (the end with the labels) make two marks on the strip as guides for where to cut.

  • Make the first mark 1⅛ inches (28.6 mm) from the left edge.

  • Make the next mark 1¾ inches (44.5 mm) from the left edge.

  • Measuring from the bottom edge of the strip, make a third mark in between the first two 5/32 inches (4 mm) up from the bottom edge.

  • This cut will be very close to the top edge of the adhesive strip, but it's important that you leave material over top of the adhesive strip for proper sound isolation. When in doubt, remove less material than you think you need to. If the adhesive still covers the microphone you can always make the notch bigger.

Midiendo desde el extremo izquierdo de la tira 4R (el extremo con las etiquetas), haz dos marcas en la tira como guías para saber dónde cortar.

Haz la primera marca a 28,6 mm (1⅛ de pulgada) del borde izquierdo.

Haz la siguiente marca a 1¾ pulgadas (44,5 mm) del borde izquierdo.

Midiendo desde el borde inferior de la tira, haz una tercera marca entre las dos primeras a 5/32 pulgadas (4 mm) del borde inferior.

Este corte se realizará muy cerca del borde superior de la tira adhesiva, pero es importante que dejes material sobre la parte superior de la tira para lograr un aislamiento acústico adecuado. En caso de duda, retira menos material del que crees que necesitas. Si el adhesivo aún cubre el micrófono, siempre puedes hacer la muesca más grande.
