Remove the remaining adhesive

  • Be very careful not to touch the capacitor leads or any exposed solder joints on the back of the power supply (boxed in red).

  • Grasp the small tab at the end of one of the bottom edge display adhesive strips and pull the adhesive toward the top of the iMac to remove it.

  • Repeat this step with the other adhesive strip and remove it.

  • If either adhesive strip breaks before it's removed, use a plastic card to slice through the remaining adhesive.

Finir de décoller l'adhésif

Faites très attention à ne toucher ni les pattes de condensateur ni les joints de soudure visibles au dos du bloc d'alimentation (entouré en rouge).

Saisissez la petite languette au bout d'une des bandes adhésives en bas de l'écran et tirez-la vers le haut de l'iMac pour la décoller.

Recommencez pour décoller la seconde bande adhésive.

Si une des bandes se déchirent, prenez une carte en plastique pour trancher l'adhésif restant.
