Separate the Bottom Edge Adhesive

  • Once the screen is warm to the touch, apply a suction handle to the bottom edge of the phone.

  • If the phone's screen is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the screen with the suction handle to create a small gap between the screen and the frame.

  • Insert the tip of an opening pick in the gap between the midframe and the screen.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to cut the adhesive. Leave it in its place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Maak de lijm aan de onderkant los

Als het scherm eenmaal te warm is om aan te raken, druk je een zuignap op de onderkant van het scherm.

Als het scherm van je telefoon is gebarsten, kan het voorkomen dat je zuignap zich niet vast kan zuigen. Probeer het scherm in dat geval op te tillen met sterke tape of lijm je zuignap vast met secondelijm en laat dit opdrogen voordat je verder gaat.

Til het scherm op met de zuignap om zo een kleine opening te creëren tussen het scherm en het frame.

Steek de punt van een openingsplectrum in de opening tussen het midframe en het scherm.

Schuif je plectrum naar de rechter onderhoek en snijd onderweg alle lijm door die je tegenkomt. Laat de plectrum op z'n plek zitten om te voorkomen dat de lijm zich opnieuw gaat hechten.
