Insert the opening tool

  • Starting on the left side of the display, near the power button, insert the iMac Opening Tool into the gap between the glass panel and the rear enclosure.

  • The hub on the iMac Opening Tool will keep you from pushing the wheel in too far. If using a different tool, insert no more than 3/8" into the display. Otherwise, you risk severing antenna cables and causing serious damage.

Steek de openingstool in de computer

Steek je iMac-openingstool in de opening tussen het glazen paneel en de achterste behuizing. Begin aan de linkerkant van het scherm, in de buurt van de aan-/uitknop.

De naaf op de iMac-openingstool weerhoudt je ervan om het wiel te ver in het toestel te duwen. Als je een andere tool gebruikt, zorg dan dat je deze niet meer dan 3/8" (is ongeveer 9.5 mm) in het scherm brengt. Anders loop je het risico de antennekabels te beschadigen.
