  • Wenn du die Hälften erfolgreich voneinander getrennt hast, hast du das Schwierigste überstanden.

  • Heb die Tastatur nach oben weg. An der Tastatur sind auch die Ribbon-Kabel verbunden, von denen du in Schritt 6 die ZIF-Verbindungen gelöst hast. Du ziehst diese also mit nach oben weg.

  • Löse die ZIF-Verbindung rechts an den beiden USB-Anschlüssen indem du das Opening Tool vorsichtig unter die schwarze Verriegelung führst und nach oben hebelst.

  • Klappe das so gelöste Ribbon-Kabel zur Seite, um die Festplatte freizulegen (Bild 3).

Uncover hard drive

If you've successfully separated the halves, you've passed the hardest part.

Lift the keyboard up and away. The ribbon cables from which you removed the ZIF connections in step 6 are also connected to the keyboard. So you pull them up with you.

Disconnect the ZIF connection on the right of the two USB ports by carefully inserting the opening tool under the black latch and levering upwards.

Fold the released ribbon cable to the side to expose the hard drive (image 3).
