  • Remove the metal shield from the iPad.

  • Use max heat and max air on your hot air station for this step ONLY. Move the nozzle around the edge of the cover to flow the solder holding it to the logic board.

  • Lift straight up so that the logic board is slightly hovering from the desktop. The logic board will drop down once the solder flows.

  • Hot air is hot! Most hot air stations can reach 500ºC (900ºF). Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.

Stelle deine Heißluftstation nur für diesen Schritt auf maximalen Luftstrom und maximale Temperatur ein. Bewege die Düse um die Kanten der Abdeckung um das Lötzinn zu verflüssigen, mit dem sie am Logic Board befestigt ist.

Hebe gerade nach oben, so dass das Logic Board leicht von der Arbeitsfläche hochkommt. Wenn das Lötzinn flüssig wird, fällt es wieder zurück.

Heißluft ist heiß! Die meisten Heißluftstationen können bis zu 500° heiß werden. Schütze dich mit den geeigneten Maßnahmen.
