Limpieza de tapas y gomas

  • Podemos observar la cantidad de suciedad acumulada entre la tapa superior y la goma gris flexible de la botonera, como se ve en la primera foto.

  • Separamos la goma flexible del resto del circuito y en el reverso comprobamos que las teclas terminan en una pieza negra que puede ser de grafito o similar. Normalmente están más manchadas las de mayor uso, como se aprecia en las fotos.

  • Tanto las carcasas exteriores como la pieza de goma con las teclas, nunca el circuito, las lavaremos suavemente con jabón neutro con ayuda de un cepillo de dientes desechado. Y las secaremos concienzudamente.

Lid and Rubber Keypad Cleaning

The first photo shows how much dirt and debris accumulated under the cover and on top of the flexible, grey keypad.

Pull the flexible rubber from the circuit, and on the back check that the keys end in a black piece that might be graphite or something similar. Normally the most used keys are more stained, as can be seen in the photos.

Gently wash the outer casings and the rubber flexible keypad with neutral soap and a discarded toothbrush. DO NOT wash the circuit board! Dry them thoroughly.
