Repair Fan Cable If Necessary

  • The fans +/- wires are covered by a thin protective sleeve.

  • Apply some electrical or kaptom tape to patch it if necessary.

  • Initially I tried to use shrink tubing here but the smallest diameter I could get around the plug was a 3/8" tube which will not properly seal around the cable when heated

  • If you accidentally cut through the entire cable (+/- wires) you'll have to resolder them together and cover with shrink tubing.

Ripara il cavo della ventola se necessario

I cavi +/- della ventola sono coperti da una sottile guaina protettiva.

Applica del nastro isolante o del nastro Kapton per ripararlo, se necessario.

Inizialmente ho provato a usare guaine termorestringenti, ma il diametro più piccolo che riuscivo a far passare attorno alla spina era un tubo da 9,5 mm, che non sigillerà correttamente attorno al cavo quando viene riscaldato.

Se tagli accidentalmente l'intero cavo (cavi +/-), dovrai saldarlo di nuovo insieme e coprirlo con guaina termorestringente.
