Repair Fan Cable If Necessary

  • The fans +/- wires are covered by a thin protective sleeve.

  • Apply some electrical or kaptom tape to patch it if necessary.

  • Initially I tried to use shrink tubing here but the smallest diameter I could get around the plug was a 3/8" tube which will not properly seal around the cable when heated

  • If you accidentally cut through the entire cable (+/- wires) you'll have to resolder them together and cover with shrink tubing.

Kabel reparieren, falls nötig

Die +/- Kabel der Lüfter sind mit einer dünnen Schutzhülle ummantelt.

Bringe bei Bedarf etwas Isolierband oder Kaptonband an, um es zu verstärken.

Anfangs habe ich versucht, hier Schrumpfschlauch zu verwenden, aber der kleinste Durchmesser, den ich um den Stecker herum bekommen konnte, war ein 3/8"-Schlauch, der bei Erwärmung keine ordnungsgemäße Versiegelung um das Kabel herum gewährleistet.

Wenn du versehentlich das gesamte Kabel (+/- Drähte) durchtrennst, musst du sie wieder zusammenlöten und mit Schrumpfschlauch umwickeln.
