  • Connect the ventilator back to the AC power.

  • Make sure the battery is properly installed by verifying that the yellow Battery (charged) LED on the front panel flashes. The flashing LED indicates the battery is being charged.

  • A new battery must be charged for at least 5 hours before being placed into service.

  • The manufacturer recommends that the ventilator’s batteries be fully charged before ventilating a patient. If the batteries are not fully charged and AC power fails, always pay close attention to the level of battery charge.

  • The ventilator charges the battery whenever the ventilator is connected to AC, with or without the ventilator switched on. The Battery (charged) LED flashes to show that the battery is being charged.

Chargement

Connectez à nouveau le respirateur à l'alimentation.

Assurez-vous que la batterie est correctement installée en vérifiant que la diode d'indication jaune (charged) sur le panneau avant clignote. Ce clignotement indique que la batterie est en charge.

Une nouvelle batterie doit être chargée pendant 5 heures avant d'être utilisée.

Le construction recommande que les batteries du respirateur soient totalement chargées avant de ventiler un patient. Si les batteries ne sont pas totalement chargées, et que l'alimentation tombe en panne, restez très attentif au niveau de charge de la batterie.

Le respirateur charge la batterie du moment que celui-ci est relié à l'alimentation, même si le respirateur n'est pas allumé. La diode de batterie (charged) clignote pour indiquer que la batterie est en charge.
