  • Move the pick to the bottom right corner of the battery and begin prying the right edge.

  • If prying becomes difficult, or the battery begins to deform, the adhesive may have cooled down. Reapply a hot iOpener or more isopropyl alcohol to re-soften it.

  • Slide the pick all along the right edge to release the adhesive strip under the right side of the battery.

Beweeg je plectrum nu naar de rechter onderhoek van de batterij en begin met het loswrikken van de rechterkant.

Als het wrikken te veel moeite kost, of als de batterij begint te vervormen, kan het zijn dat de lijm is afgekoeld. Breng in dat geval je verwarmde iOpener weer aan of dien wat isopropyl alcohol toe om de lijm te verzwakken.

Schuif je plectrum langs de rechterzijde omhoog om de kleefstrip aan de rechterkant van de batterij los te maken.
