  • Samsung touts a 6.9-7.2 mm thick phone, but measures that without the plastic bezels inherited from the Fold (seen on the right).

  • These bezels do seem to have a slightly lower profile, but the effect is somewhat marred by the extra rubber feet.

  • Another thing the Flip inherits: the seemingly unchanged "crease caps"—those T-shaped bits—from the v2 Fold.

  • The camera notch situation, on the other hand, is much improved. The Flip's hole-punch selfie cam makes for a far less clunky experience.

Samsung spreekt van een 6.9-7.2 mm dikke telefoon, maar heeft dat gemeten zonder de plasticen frames die van de Fold komen (zoals aan rechterkant te zien is).

Deze frames lijken ietsjes dunner te zijn, maar het effect wordt gecompenseerd door de extra toegevoegde rubberen voeten.

Nog iets dat de Flip erft: de schijnbaar onveranderde "crease caps"—die t-vormige delen—van de v2 Fold.

De inkeping van de camera is, daarentegen, zeker vooruit gegaan. De perforatorachtige selfiecamera in de Flip zorgt voor een veel minder lompe ervaring.
