Use Heatgun

  • Slide the heat shrink tubing over the exposed wires.

  • Using the heat gun, slowly go back and forth over the shrink wrap, allowing for even heat distribution and the wrap to close.

  • Depending on the heat gun setting, shrink wraps should take anywhere from 10-25 seconds to fully constrict around the wire.

  • Heat guns take little time to heat up and much longer to cool down. Use caution when setting this tool down and make sure it's cool when picking it up after use.

Utiliser un pistolet à air chaud

Faites glisser les gaines thermorétractables sur les parties à nu.

Avec un pistolet à air chaud, faites des allers-retours au-dessus de la gaine, répartissant ainsi la chaleur et permettant à la gaine de se contracter uniformément autour du fil.

Suivant le réglage du pistolet, les gaines devraient mettre entre 10 et 25 secondes à se contracter complètement.

Les pistolets à air chaud sont rapides à chauffer mais beaucoup plus longs à refroidir. Attention en le posant, et assurez-vous qu'il ait refroidi avant de le reprendre.
