Remove the battery

  • Prepare an iOpener and apply it directly to the battery for at least two minutes. Reheat and reapply the iOpener as needed.

  • Be careful not to overheat the battery with the iOpener. If you notice the battery swelling at all, immediately remove any heat and let the battery cool down.

  • Alternatively, apply some isopropyl alcohol under each corner of the battery and allow it to penetrate for several minutes to help weaken the adhesive.

Verwijder de batterij

Verwarm een iOpener en leg deze gedurende minimaal twee minuten op de batterij. Herhaal dit proces zo vaak als nodig om de batterij los te krijgen.

Wees hierbij voorzichtig en zorg dat je de batterij niet oververhit met je iOpener. Als je ziet dat de batterij ook maar enigszins opzwelt, verwijder je je iOpener direct en laat je je batterij volledig afkoelen.

Als alternatieve methode kun je ook wat isopropyl alcohol onder alle hoeken van de batterij toedienen. Laat dit enkele minuten intrekken voordat je verdergaat, zodat de alcohol de tijd krijgt om de lijm te verzwakken.
