Remove the Battery

  • Apply a freshly heated iOpener to the back of the phone directly behind the battery for two minutes to help soften the adhesive. Re-heat and reapply the iOpener as necessary.

  • Alternatively, apply high-concentration (>90%) isopropyl alcohol under the edge of the battery to weaken the adhesive underneath.

  • Let the phone sit for several minutes to allow the alcohol to penetrate and weaken the adhesive.

Verwijder de batterij

Leg een verwarmde iOpener gedurende twee minuten op de achterkant van de telefoon, direct achter de batterij, om de lijm te verzwakken. Herverwarm je iOpener indien nodig en herhaal dit proces zo vaak als nodig is.

Als alternatieve methode kun je ervoor kiezen om wat hooggeconcentreerde isopropyl alcohol (>90%) onder alle zijkanten van de batterij toe te dienen om de lijm eronder te verzwakken.

Laat je telefoon een aantal minuten met rust zodat de alcohol in kan trekken en haar werk kan doen.
