  • Unfazed by the ominous array of black modules in the case, we pull the first switch we can find, and...

  • Voilà! Up pops the first memory cover, revealing two out of the four sticks of RAM that came with our base configuration model. (There's room for eight more sticks in there.)

  • Still no tools required for any of this—if you have opposable thumbs, you can replace this RAM (we even have some!). Somebody pinch us.

  • The cherry on top is the handy diagram on the insides of the RAM covers, showing which DIMM slots to populate with different amounts of memory.

  • As an open-source repair guide for every thing, we don't have to tell you how much we <3 this kind of repair documentation.

Sin dejarnos aturdir por el ominoso conjunto de módulos negros de la caja, tiramos del primer interruptor que encontramos, y....

¡Voilà! Aparece la primera cubierta de memoria, revelando dos de las cuatro barras de RAM que venían con nuestro modelo de configuración base. Hay espacio para ocho barras más.

Todavía no se requieren herramientas para nada de esto - si tienes pulgares oponibles, usted puede reemplazar esta RAM (¡incluso tenemos algunas!). Que alguien nos pellizque.

La cereza en la parte superior es el práctico diagrama en el interior de las cubiertas de la memoria RAM, que muestra qué ranuras DIMM hay que rellenar con diferentes cantidades de memoria.

Como una guía de reparación de código abierto para cada cosa, no tenemos que decirte cuánto <3 de este tipo de documentación de reparación.
